Sonoma County DV Help, a program of Voices Against Domestic Violence Network, is a victim-centered organization that provides direct services to survivors of domestic violence. As such, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy for all who seek our support.
Our Commitment to Confidentiality
We understand that seeking help requires immense courage. Be assured that all personally identifiable information, communications, and details about your use of our services are handled with strict confidentiality. Our staff and volunteers are trained to protect your privacy and are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for you.
Limits of Confidentiality
In rare situations, and as required by law, we are obligated to disclose information. We want you to be fully aware of these legal limits to our confidentiality. Your personal information and communications will not be shared without your explicit consent, except under the following conditions:

Mandated Reporting: We are legally required to report suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse of a dependent adult to the appropriate authorities.
